The where have all the surfing cowboys gone blog is very unclear on what the message is the artist is trying to get across.
The questions i ask myself when i came across this blog was:
what involvement does the images have to the subject of surfing and cowboys?
why do the images not give any information on what the blog is about?
The artist of the blog also mentions the model wearing the 'danger dress' what is significant about the danger dress and how does this link to surfing or cowboys?
I feel the blog has an element of mystery and is deliberately not given any information away to make the audience think and dig deeper for information .
The element of surfing may be included into the blog due to the colour scheme used for example the blue background, also taking into account that the blog has an element of fashion incorporated into the blog maybe the message the artist is trying to get across is where has a certain craze or style gone. The artist also mentions the 'danger dress' and leaves the message as a cliff hanger"called the danger dress for a reason. Careful how you walk in this one".
The artist is obviously trying to recreate a style which was once popular but has suddenly dissappeared, or even a new style which is missing and there is a gap in the market due to the title being where have all the surfing cowboys gone implying something is missing . Analyising the quote the blog is clearly focused on fashion and its main focus is to advertise and sale a product called the 'danger dress' . By stating called the danger dress for a reason makes the customers want to buy the dress. By stating to be carfeul how you walk in the dress may perhaps mean you have to have a certain style in order for the dress to compliment you.
Another reason as to why the blog may be called where have all the surfing cowboys gone may be a comparison of the two topics or another way of stating where have all the people who are different gone, due to surfing and cowboys being two completely different topics which are brought together to create an image an the audiences head.

The overall message i think the artist of the blog is trying to portray is being difference and stepping out of your comfort zone. analyising the images it is clear how the models poses and facial expressions change from shy and uncomfortable to confident. The images are also telling a story to the viewer the transformation of the model through wearing the 'danger dress' therefore making the viewer want this product as a result selling the product.

analyising the image the model looks slightly out of her comfort zone. It is also recognisable that the you are only able to see half of the danger dress and not its full potential.

In this image the lighting is bright and the models stance is confident i feel the how the model is posing portrays stepping out of your comfort zone.
